This project presents a big open space with different rooms interconnected between each other.
Currently, it shows a selection of furniture pieces by different iconic designers, such as the “TONICO” armchair by Sergio Rodrigues – 1963.
What inspires this project is the use and juxtaposition of pure geometric figures, like those of Carlos Scarpa and the minimalism of Tadao Ando.
In this model of monumental spaces, different light sources are used to enrich the spatial compositions and highlight the exposed models.
The 3d geometry of the virtual architecture was created by using simplified elements, trying to reduce the number of polygons and materials in order to favor the application’s performance.
It has 3 different using modes: First Person, VR experience and Camera. This last mode allows the user to switch between different camera positions which have been previously configured.
