On December 21, 2020, the planetary conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn took place, Despite the fact that this conjunction phenomenon occurs approximately every 20 years, that of 2020 was unusually close and we will have to wait until March 15, 2080 to return to see these two planets so close to each other.

A conjunction is just a perspective effect, However, from Earth’s position, Saturn will be behind Jupiter. The three planets, Earth, Jupiter and Saturn will be practically in line, although they are separated by enormous distances.

This resulted in personal interpretation and inspiration for this project, consisting of a collection of 13 images and a video.
